In the vicinity (2 houses away) there is the local bakery, open from monday till sunday. Handmade cakes are wellknown, even nonlocals take a ride to get one. Croissants, different rolls and pretzels are very tasty, too.
The neighborhood is pretty quiet. From time to time there is some celebration, like everywhere, of course.

Next there is within walking distance (200 meters) a beautiful beer garden, serving pizzas, locale stuff and Indian(!).
Five minutes by car, you can visit Italian Chef Enzo Inverso at "Il Gusto" in Schwalheim.
Alternatives are "Brunnenwärterhäuschen" (home-style), "Straußwirtschaft Steinmühle" (Wetterau regional, known for its homemade "Apfelwein")
